They really can be, especially when it comes to their beloved Facebook. Now, don't get me wrong, I spend my fair share of time on Facebook. I interact with friends and family; the student club I advise probably wouldn't exist without their Facebook page, the event invitation is practically an invaluable tools for anyone under the age to 30, and I've even been known to play a game or two.
But falling for these stupid scams, and putting the entire rest of a network at risk, is just plain..... well, stupid.
It would have been nice to be able to read the entire article without having to register with the website. Maybe he made a point in the rest of the article I could not read but it might be smarter for colleges to become proactive, invest the money and prevent things from happening than waiting for it to happen becoming a huge problem in the process. IT guys always seem to know what should have been done after the problem arises but never share before hand.
